Enrollment

Step 1: Contact Austin EcoSchool Admissions at info@austin-ecoschool.org or 512-447-8516

Make an appointment for the Austin EcoSchool Visitor’s Tea, held every Tuesday from 10 am to 11 am. In order to respect our students’ work environment, the Visitor’s Tea is reserved for parents and guardians only.

Whole Family Tours are available on the first Monday of every month from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. No appointment necessary.

Step 2. Submit Application for Admission, Referral Letters, and Application Fee.

See links below. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable and all requested information must be complete in order for your application to be considered. Upon receipt of your application and fee, we will send you a copy of our school handbook for review.

Step 3. Family Interview

When ALL of your records and application materials have been submitted, the admissions team will meet to discuss your application. Please note that returning students and siblings have seniority in placement at Austin EcoSchool. If you are accepted, you will be invited to enroll.

Step 4. Submit Complete Enrollment Packet and the Registration and Supply Fee

Your child would then officially be an Austin EcoSchool student. Keep in mind that the first 30 days of your enrollment is considered a trial period. During that time, you or the Board of Directors may terminate the contract if Austin EcoSchool is not the right fit for your family’s needs.

May Fest and Village Mini Fair

Saturday, May 18th, 2 pm

EcoSchools’ annual May Fest is all set to be loads of fun and the Village Mini Fair just always is!

Come make a *Peep (a what?!) and take it for a whirl on the miniature Ferris wheel.
Or, if your Peep is feeling very adventurous, take off on the Bubble Blaster – always a wild ride and a hoot!  Or go the Peep Disco Dance Hall, or the zip line race course, or the Whirling Fan of Doom (sure to big a hit with the hard core thrill seekers!) – or, well, the list just goes on and on….

Perhaps your Peep is a little more low key, more of a shopper than a thrill seeker – well then, take it on the tour of Peep Homes or to the Village Market and see what simply cannot be lived without! Peep hats, shawls and shoes, pets and exotic animals from far and wide, dishes, tools, furnishings and more.

In addition to the Village Mini Fair we have live youth music groups, food, various “green” info stalls and a fun activities for the kids.

* A Peep is a 3″ tall doll with huge ideas, plans and ambitions and they just LOVE the Village Mini Fair, where everything is just their size and they can really “let their hair down”!

Y’all come on down for a rip roarin’ good time!
